Premier TEFL 120-Hour TEFL Course
The 120-hour Online Course is a budget-friendly TEFL course that’s often on sale for as low as €150. The course includes in-depth lessons to ten different modules that can be completed as quickly as 3-6 weeks, but you have a total of six months in case you’re busy or would like to take your time.
As with all of Premier TEFL’s courses, you’ll cover topics such as English grammar and terminology needed to teach it, classroom management, how to create effective lesson plans and teaching materials, how to feel confident as a teacher, and how to find the best teaching job for you.
A 120-hour TEFL is often considered the industry baseline. Most hiring schools and programs want their teachers to have a TEFL certificate with at least 120 hours or more. I don’t recommend anything less.

Premier TEFL OFQUAL 168 Hour TEFL Course
Premier TEFL’s 168-Hour Level 5 TEFL Course is also broken up into 10 modules that include video lessons, mini assignments, and three assignments that are graded by a professional tutor with feedback. This certificate is accredited by OFQUAL and is a UK government-regulated course, one of the most prestigious accreditations. While you study, you’ll have access to live DELTA-qualified tutor support for one-on-one sessions.
The 168-Hour course is valued at €999 but is often on sale for around €350. As a bonus with this course, teachers receive a grammar guide too.

Premier TEFL 270 Hour Hybrid TEFL Course
The 270-Hour Hybrid Course at Premier TEFL is broken up into ten modules and trainers have six months access to the online course material, making it easy to complete the course on your own time. Full priced, the course costs €895, but like all of Premier TEFL’s courses, is often on sale—so keep your eyes peeled for discounts! This hybrid course includes 120 hours of accredited online training, 26 hours of virtual teaching practice on Zoom, and access to resources like lesson planning templates and a free yoga course to help you stay relaxed while learning online.

As great as Premier TEFL is, I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone. To determine if it’s right for you, you should consider what your teaching goals are.
If you’re looking for a super-intensive course that will help you progress through a lifelong career of teaching English, you’re better off going with a more prestigious and in-depth course such as a CELTA or a degree program from a university. A higher-end certification is key to getting hired at international schools abroad and will help you earn a higher salary.
But if you’re searching for a certificate that’ll allow you to teach English abroad for a gap year or two (or three) before continuing on your intended career track, the TEFL courses at Premier TEFL are all you need. Their certificates also check the boxes for getting hired to teach English online and are some of the most affordable options on the market!
